Approximately 35,000 fans are estimated to convene on the corner of Surf and Stillwell avenues in Coney Island to watch the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest in person. Millions more watch the ESPN telecast of the contest.

Reigning female champion, Miki Sudo won her tenth title on July 4, 2024 with 51 hot dogs and buns eaten, a new female World Record!&nbsp;
