Approximately 35,000 fans are estimated to convene on the corner of Surf and Stillwell avenues in Coney Island to watch the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog-Eating Contest in person. Millions more watch the ESPN telecast of the contest.
Congratulations to Joey Chestnut who took back the title this year! Joey won his 17th Mustard Belt after eating 70.5 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes. Reigning female champion, Miki Sudo won her 11th title on July 4, 2025 with 33 hot dogs and buns eaten.
